So who is Regan Smith Clarke?

That would be me.

And what’s the story here??

RSC is my very own super rad t-shirt brand. After playing in bands, touring the country with friends, promoting shows in the Boston area and designing merch for all of the above, I’ve decided to create something more inspiring and personally fulfilling. When I began thinking about what inspires me to think creatively, the first thing that came to mind was my passion for vintage posters, signs and advertisements. I’ve always had a fascination with these types of visuals and loved the idea of using them as my main source of inspiration.

So whats so cool about posters, signs & ads; especially vintage ones??

Have you ever walk down the street and pondered what a specific poster means? Or what a fancy looking sign in a shop window is trying to convey? Maybe every once in a while you have, but for the most part probably not. We’re constantly bombarded with different images, so its no surprise we learn to filter most out. This type of constant mental stimulation makes it easy to overlook these everyday objects. The vintage aspect has an enduring appeal to me. In my opinion it is a classic and romantic quality to have and that gives it a timeless value. The content of these vintage images may change, but the message ultimately stays the same.

Getting to the point, the essence of my brand is simply in the message. I encourage you to take a step back to appreciate the meaning and become more aware of your environment in the process. My love of all things vintage will be the main source of inspiration, while the message will always be made clear.

RSC has been in the works for what feels like forever, so to finally get to this stage is very exciting! In closing keep your eyes open and your ear to the ground because there will be plenty of cool things happening. Official opening of my online shop will be this Monday, March 1st. Don’t sleep on it!
